 About the Artist: Gholam Yunessi brings a world of experience to his paintings. His training began early at the hands of an uncle, the sculptor Esamaeel Yunessi. He continued his art education through high school and the Tehran College of Fine Art.Subsequent travels in Europe exposed Yunessi to European style and art.Eventually, he settled with his family in the United States.

Being both a landscape and figurative artist Yunessi finds inspiration in nature and in the human experience.In his figurative work he strives to give substance to the intangible emotions and peculiarities that enrich our lives.

Yunessi shares a studio with his wife, Fara Bell, in their California home.
