Special features about these frames:

These "truly unique" frames are made from beams of wood reclaimed from old Italian buildings or poles used to carry electricity, the wood is poplar and more than 100 years old. The woodworm effect was created much earlier in the life of the wood which has more recently been specially treated during the manufacturing process. Dust caused by the aging of the timber may be present in the frames and the woodworm holes design effect can vary in each stick of moulding adding to the one of a kind design. The frames are 2" wide with antiqued finished gold lips.

He says; "I tried to capture the character of the scene, the shifting colors as the day turns to night. Painting Boston Common is always a challenge, because its been depicted so often, but it is irresistible. It has such a classic aesthetic.
