Surrounded by natural beauty and abundant wildlife, it is not surprising that both have become sources of inspiration for her artwork. Lisa says: "I love animals and nature. Any piece of wood or stone sets me off. I start feeling and seeing what could happen." After Lisa selects the right piece of barnwood for a project, she sands it and gives it a base coat of paint. Working in acrylics, she then paints the image and after completing her project, finishes the piece with an antiquing process and a final protective coat of varnish.
