Raised in a small New Hampshire town,Julia migrated north to Montreal where she completed a Fine Arts degree at Concordia University. She flourished in the Montreal art scene, staging several solo art shows as well as participating in prestigious group exhibitions. Julia brings her subjects to life by applying vibrant oils to canvas,often using palette knives.Music and performing have always been important to her and she manages to combine her love of painting and being an active member in an alternative jazz combo.She makes her home and studio in Toronto.
